Sally was a website designer for a company. She was the head moderator of the website design division. One day she got and email about this guy wanting to start his own search engine. I said once it was up and running he wanted to be a moderator of the website. He had a fast connection and was good with websites.
So, Sally told him that she would get to work on it. But she would have to check with upper management if he could be a moderator. She worked hard getting the website fixed up nice. Made the website look modern. Thanks to the company's fast connection she finished the search engine fast.
Sally finished it and let the guy take a look at it. He was amazed by the quality of her work. He could not believe how good the search engine looked. He ask Sally if she wanted a new job. He had a connection with a guy that worked on a search engine but never got it to working right.
Sally thanked him but said, no. She was happy right where she was, she liked here job. The man thought a moment and told her that she had a great work ethic, if she wanted she could own her own business. He thought some more and ask her why she didn't want to leave, why she didn't want to grow.
Sally thought about it, she explained that she didn't want to grow because she was happy with everything. Sally didn't need to make a lot of money. She just liked working on website. Sally told the man that its more of a hobby than a job. She gets paid to do want she likes.
The man just stared at her. He couldn't believe it, happy not making a lot of money. Not growing, just staying the same. He looked at her again and started to walk away. "Well, if you ever want a change let me know, I just can't live like that" ,he said. He could live like that his family needed the money, he was tired of not being able to pay the bills. This search engine is his last shot to make it. He walked away, determined to make it work.
